no Mozart
no "Messiah" by Handel
no "Sound and the Fury"
no "Dark Night of the Soul" by St. John of the Cross
no "Romeo and Juliet"
isn't it amazing how much art means to us?
nothing moves the soul like works of expression
paintings, songs, stories, photographs, ballet,
we are made to be moved
in His Image must have something to do with this
my wife and i saw the "Nutcracker" ballet last night
i always forget how many great melodies are in the second act
there is one dance by a solo performer
i believe it is the only minor key moment
she moves in very fluid, lovely strides
graceful
it was haunting
somehow,
it all brings glory to our Father in Heaven
i am grateful for His creative Heart..
