sometimes the opposite is best
though i am not sure about this
for sometimes,
it is the other way around..
no matter how dark it is,
3:30 shines bright on the digital..
red numbers suspended in the black..
a Nightbird was singing..
i was listening trying to sing along,
i wonder if she sleeps in the daytime..
a friend and i talked for an hour last night..
we talked about digging..
when i woke at 3:30 i thought about it.
did you know it is very hard to write a simple song?
"I Saw the Light" by Hank Williams Sr. is a great example..
sounds so simple and easy,
heck, anybody could write it..
or,
"Blowin in the Wind" by Mr. Dylan..
easy stuff....HA!
simple truth is the hardest to take,
and the hardest to shake loose from our busy brains..
