this week represents the world forever changed
nothing has been the same after that week
2000 years ago
all of life, reality,art, music, education, spirituality,
everything changed
a room where a few celebrated the passover
a garden where a few tried to stay awake
betrayal
a mock trial
denial
scourging
a crown made of brittle thorns
a mother weeping for her son
a cross
a day of deafening silence
an empty tomb
nothing has been the same since
and it never will be.
