The Conductor

summer rains
the clouds have been amazing the past two days
mountains of layers
diverse shades of white, gun metal gray,
and today they are dark and luminous
i wonder sometimes if the clouds make sound,
some kind of heavenly music,
heard only by Angels,,
the Lord is the Conductor
of this symphony we call life
and yet, somehow,too often,
it seems we hold the baton..
