i saw an old friend last night
one of my dearest friends
it was a much needed reunion
his little 20 month old girl kept hugging me
i almost started crying
but i kept it together
it was great to just be there
to sit and talk
he grilled some steaks
we drank a great IPA
these are tender mercies of our God
times like this
to know that days and distance
silence and sorrow
can't break the true bond of brothers
