the simple things mean the most

a text that says,

"can't wait till you get here!",

a crow's cry first thing in the morning,

someone who believes in you,

someone who holds you dear..

the look in the eyes of a dog who loves you..

i don't care about politics..

nothing will change no matter who wins,

it never has..

the only change that matters is in hearts..

and only something Other can do that..

politics only stirs up emotions,

either for hate or ideas..

and it is good if the ideas cause mercy,

but this is as rare as hen's teeth..

mystery and miracles do something better,

cause man ain't going to fix nothing on his own,

nothing eternal..

nothing that brings real peace,

"The peace I give the world can not give."

Jesus said that.
