New Jersey

it is snowing in New Jersey
it is beautiful
we don't see much snow in Mississippi
mostly ice
there are so many kind people in this world
the couple that brought me here to play
have two Irish Setters
three cats
i told them i feel like i am at home
they are incredibly kind folk
their desire to encourage their parish
has given me a chance to sing some songs
and tell my story
it's a pretty cool deal
i woke this morning at 5:30 with a cat lying on my chest
he looked me in the eyes when i opened them
it really does feel like home
