love is so important..

loving each other..

hugging, kissing, handshakes..

kindness in the face of the human condition.

I an't talking about positive thinking..

or happy go lucky..

I'm speaking of something more subtle..

something like a blade of grass growing up through the dirt..

something eternal and imperfect..

gritty, trying, failing, continuing, doubting, believing..

a Grandmother rocking her grandchild..

without it,

grandkids don't have as much of a chance to love those they journey with..
