The light will be dim and hazy at times in our seeking of light. We are wired to want His light. "Eternity has been placed within our hearts" says the writer of Ecclesiastes. We are visible grasping creatures. We need. He needs nothing, so He became a baby. Babies need everything. Babies grasp for food, momma, comfort. Jesus did all of this. So, as we fall on our faces today or tomorrow in our grasping for a living, expression, love, comfort, momma, success, acceptance, etc.. let's find great comfort in our God. He truly knows what we are going through. He had sorrow upon sorrow, He knows how we feel. This should make us joyful and light. This should cause laughter, especially when we look in the mirror and see those lines of anxiety carving their way across our foreheads. We have to learn to laugh, and then thank Him for being a man.
